Climb the rocks and get beautiful views of the granite formations, lake, dam, and some wild life if you're lucky. One of my favorite places.

A beautiful place to spend a morning *in summer). Take a hike or kayak around the reservoir. Do lots of dragonfly and birdwatching. Bring lunch and Make day of it.

A place with wild life and serenity! There are hiking trails, plenty of animals to see, and some boating opportunities. No gas motors! I have seen eagles, hawks, falcons, ducks, water chickens, turtles, and a fish or two. It is a great place to relax on my kayak or boat.

One of our favorite trails is from the southeast corner of the lake up to the east banks and the dam. There are wonderful trails thru and over the granite dells and boulders on the east side, and tons of birdwatching opportunities.
