Lower Goldwater hiking trails are open. I accessed them from Upper Goldwater. (The hiking trail that leads to the dam-on either side-lead to the lower lake.) Iām not sure when the road and parking will be open for the lower lake. But they have restrooms and parking lot almost finished. See photos. Iām sure the road, parking and restrooms will be open soon.

The lower basin is getting a new trail to the second dam. It is not finished yet but what is do is in ok shape. Little muddy today with all the rain. Photos are from the main lake trail on the way to the lower lake.

We hiked around both the upper and lower. It is a medium light difficulty. While on hike we enjoy company of a lot of wildlife from deer, squirrel, ducks, and a little tarantula. I am an AZ native and regret not coming to this lake sooner
