People saying the park is dirty somehow blows my mind, 80% water clarity and the fish are safe to eat. Great place to learn how to fish since it has a massive bluegill population, as well as being stocked with catfish in the summer and trout in the winter. Great place that is maintained regularly

Very nice place for the family. You can even fish here.

Last time I visited my experience was that the areas near the lake were very stinky, and there were large amounts of duck poo as well as dog poo in the grassy areas. Perhaps this was an off day or due to the time of day I visited. Obviously the ducks are going to poo, but compared to my visits of another man-made lake in my old community, the difference in cleanliness was striking.

The park is nice here, On the other hand the Lake is rather disgusting!.The lake has a serious green algae problem!!,dead fish in water here and there! It's a shame they don't take care of it.It would be nice if you could get Access to one of the islands and maybe to generate some extra income charge a smalle kayak fee like at some of the other lakes that a lot of people don't know about Access to one of the islands and maybe to generate some extra income charge a smalle kayak fee like at some of the other parks that a lot of people don't know about

This is a very beautiful and huge lake. Compared to the other man-made lakes like Kiwanis, Chaparral, or Tempe Town Lake, this lake outshines them for being clean and big and great views. I haven't seen any trash in the lake and when I stood by the shore I could even see the bottom of the lake and that's how clean it was. There are beautiful mountains in the horizon and I just love the variety of birds and ducks that sit in and by the lake. There is a nice concrete path along the lake that's very relaxing to stroll around and there are also a rest stop with railing you can lean against it and look out. Just awesome. :D
