Reviews of Lake Black canyon lake

Nice lake! I've been going here since I was a kid. The lake is almost completely full right now. This lake has bass, trout, and bluegill. They have plenty of parking and parking for vehicles towing trailers. The bathrooms aren't the best, but they get the job done. There are wild horses that wander around the lake. Great lake for the family!

Camped nearby and walked to the lake to fish. Beautiful lake, not busy at all. Fish were not biting for us, but still had a great time. Group of wild horses hanging across the lake was fun to watch. Another group joined us in camp a few times. It was an amazing experience! Camping in this area was wonderful, lots of places to boondock. We will definitely be back again!

Amazing, beautiful lake. Spectacular setting in the woods . Majestic wild horses, cows. Great place for a hike , lovely leisurely walking trails. Kayaking, paddleboards, fishing(bass , catfish and trout)

Great place. There were horses. The lake isn’t super special, but what a nice place to walk around and go camping.

Came for Memorial weekend and while it was busy, we were able to find a perfect camping spot that was quiet and secluded. The lake was surprisingly not crazy busy and there was lots of room to enjoy yourself or throw out a line. Also saw a herd of wild horses which was awesome!
