Very long bumpy dirt road to get here high clearance needed especially as you get closer. A mile hike in and out, not that easy carrying a paddle board or kayak. The out is uphill. It was definitely worth it Only a few people there where we hiked in. But when we kayaked and paddle boarded out of that immediate area, we had the entire rest of the lake to ourselves.... not one other person on the other two sides of the lake, beautiful grassy Forest Area to hop out and take a nice break.

Beautiful location to fish but shore access was not plentiful. Hike down was great (30min) however the hike up (1hr) in hot weather with kids is not recommended. Bring plenty of water.

BE PREPARED! This lake is stunning and a nice place for a picnic, kayak, fishing, etc. but has a tough hike in and out. The only vehicles that can get down there safely/are allowed are a quad or a dirtbike. The hike is about a mile long, and several hundreds of feet descent/ascent. The lake itself is beautiful and there are a few nice spots you can find some shade to chill out in. If you like to work to get to your destination, head here!

Although we didn't catch a thing, this was a fun experience in nature. A bit of a walk down to the lake but worth it for the view.

The views going down to the lake are amazing but the lake itself is kinda of eerie and if you've ever watched the movie" The hills have eyes" well that's pretty much how you'll feel being there. We just went this past weekend and the lake wasn't busy at all im assuming because the hike down is pretty tough especially going back up. I recommend bringing a side by side or quad.
