Love visiting here, not only is it beautiful out here with plenty of outdoor activities to do, but it was where my daughter caught her first fish.

This lake is absolutely beautiful!!!! There is a rim before you get to it on the left side so make sure to check it out🩵🫶🏼. There’s a little store to shop goodies, food, boat/ kayak rentals . I recommend to be there super early!! And be prepared to walk lol

Getting too crowded during the summer. Always a fun place to escape the heat in the valley. I notice alot of california plates. Unfortunately it looks they are not just visiting, hopefully they return back to CA before they ruin our beautiful state, like they did to CA.

Love the lake, if you can get out on the water. Aspen camp site not so much. No shade and they refused to accept my America the beautiful annual pass even though they accept the America the beautiful annual pass for disabled, for veterans, and for seniors.

If you're looking for a peaceful and picturesque camping spot, look no further than Woods Canyon Lake. Nestled in the beautiful forest of Arizona, this serene lake is the perfect place to disconnect from the outside world and unwind. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the natural beauty of the area. The lake is surrounded by towering trees and lush greenery, which provides a serene and calming atmosphere. We set up our campsite just a stone's throw from the lake, and spent our days lounging by the water, hiking through the forest, and enjoying the great outdoors. One of the things we love most about Woods Canyon Lake is the abundance of activities available. In addition to paddle boarding or kayaking in the lake, there are also several hiking trails in the area, which offer stunning views and the chance to spot some local wildlife. We even saw a few deer and a family of ducks during our visit. But perhaps the best part of our stay at Woods Canyon Lake was the opportunity to truly disconnect from the outside world. We spent our days lounging by the lake, cooking meals over the campfire, and enjoying each other's company. It was the perfect opportunity to slow down and recharge. In short, if you're looking for a peaceful and scenic camping spot, look no further than Woods Canyon Lake. From the natural beauty of the surroundings to the abundance of activities available, it's the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. We give it a strong 5-star rating and can't wait to return.
