We didn’t stay to camp given the long drive (30+miles) to get there off the main road. Beautiful area though.

I can't honestly give this state park a high review because of the terrible way spaces are laid out. It's like pulling off the side of the road with motor homes on the other side, as well as a few feet in front and back of you. It's like camping on a city street, but with a better view. I'll pass on this one from now on.

I was pulling a 12,000 toy hauler to alamo lake, google routed me to a dirt road that I could only run 20 mph (rough with 8" deep holes). Five miles away was a nice paved road that the dirt road would intersect. I see NO adjustment in google to stay off dirt roads.

Absolutely amazing. Beautiful lake, quiet, a secret oasis in Arizona that you should definitely see. Az state park system takes really good care of their campgrounds!

Beautiful views, great fishing, and a well cared for park. There's also several varieties of wildlife including wild burros.
